The taxi service at Malaga airport operates 24 hours a day and the rank is located in the Arrivals area of terminal T3.

The taxi rank is connected to the train station by a covered pedestrian shelter, but if you arrive at the airport when trains or buses are not yet running, the best option for getting to the centre of Malaga from the airport is to take an official taxi, which in Malaga are white with a blue side stripe.

If you prefer to be met at the airport you can book a private transfer. A driver will be waiting for you and will take you comfortably, whatever your arrival time, to your destination.

Malaga airport taxi fares and prices for 2025

After the latest taxi fare increase for 2025, the current prices are set out in the following table.

Taxi fares are divided into six categories (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T9). These fares must always be visible to the public, and are normally printed on a sticker on one of the taxi windows. The total amount to be paid must be indicated on the taximeter and you can ask for a receipt or invoice for your journey.

• Tariff type 1 & 4: working days from 6:00h to 22:00h.
• Tariff type 2 & 5: working days from 22:00h to 24:00h. Working days from 00:00h to 6:00h except Fridays and the eve of public holidays. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 06:00h to 22:00h. August Fair and Easter from 06:00h to 20:00h. December 24th and 31st and January 5th from 00:00h to 22:00h.
• Tariff type 3 & 9: Fridays and the eve of public holidays from 22:00h to 24:00h. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 00:00h to 06:00h, and from 22:00h to 24:00horas. December 24th and 31st and January 5th from 22:00h to 24:00h.
